Parker CH Bernard Steel Barrels 1896 Antique

This is a very nice example of a desirable hard to find Bernard barreled Parker CH Grade gun. This gun is serial number 85074 and was shipped in June 1896 making it an antique. It features 30″ Bernard Steel barrels with 2 7/8″ chambers. It is a CH hammerless 12 gauge.
This is a very handsome example which was treated to a top shelf professional restoration (likely DelGrego) many years ago as all finishes are aging nicely.
This gun has very handsome honey & tobacco colored walnut with a capped pistol grip, skeleton buttplate & a very fine comb. There is some minor discoloration around the butt and I may see very fine stable hairline cracks just behind the bottom frame which are barely noticeable.
Very nice engraving in typical CH grade style and very nice mellow case color is evident on the frame.
The barrels on this gun are spectacular with vivid tone & pattern in the Bernard steel. No dents or dings. Bores are bright with some very slight frosting. Barrels ring nicely.
The gun is tight & sound & seems to function properly. Crisp. Very nice balance.
